On 15 January 2026, the SOLINDARITY consortium gathered in Los Arcos, northern Spain, for its General Assembly, hosted by project partner Centro Tecnológico Lurederra, marking an important milestone as the project reached the halfway point of its implementation.
Over the course of the meeting, partners reviewed the progress achieved to date, discussed the status of the ongoing work packages, and exchanged experiences to align on the activities planned for the project’s next phase. With the project now at its midpoint, several of its first outcomes are starting to become visible, reflecting the collective efforts of all partners involved.
A highlight of the meeting was a technical visit to Lurederra’s production facilities, giving consortium members first-hand insight into the development and testing of the company’s technologies. Lurederra specialises in nanotechnology-based materials, and within SOLINDARITY, the team is working on antisoiling and antireflective coatings designed to improve the performance of photovoltaic panels. The visit offered a valuable opportunity to better understand how these coatings are developed and how they contribute to the project’s broader goals.
As SOLINDARITY moves into the second half of its implementation, the outcomes of the General Assembly reaffirm the consortium’s shared commitment to advancing solar-driven, energy-efficient solutions for industrial decarbonisation.
