About us

SOLINDARITY

An EU-funded project, focuses on decarbonising industrial processes through an integrated Solar Energy-based Heat Upgrade System (SEHUS). This innovative system combines solar energy (both thermal and photovoltaic), high-temperature heat pumps, thermal energy storage, and waste heat recovery to significantly reduce carbon emissions in the industrial sector.

It represent three key industrial sectors: food, paper, and rubber industries. These pilot projects will showcase the effectiveness, sustainability, and cost-efficiency of SEHUS in supplying medium-grade heat at temperatures up to 280°C, considering various factors such as plant capacities, operational configurations, land constraints, and fuel usage.

SOLINDARITY will address major technical challenges in integrating these modules into existing process plants.
